The School of ECE’s instructional lab space is made up of 13 separate for-credit labs as well as 3 rooms dedicated to design and machining. We provide electrical and electronic support to all Georgia Tech personnel for academic, research, or personal purposes.
The Hive Makerspace
The Interdisciplinary Design Commons, better known as the Hive Makerspace, is here to provide the Georgia Tech community with accessible engineering space and resources to bring ideas to life in a non-traditional classroom setting. Our space is open to all members of Georgia Tech regardless of major, year, or experience.

Laptop Loaner Program
As part of the ECE Cares initiative, ECE students can now check out a loaner laptop when their computing equipment is being repaired. Should you need to check out a laptop, you can do so here!
GT Library Equipment Lending
ECE has partnered with the Library to lend myDaq and MBED kits – they can be checked out from the INFODesk on the ground floor of the Price Gilbert library.
The Library’s Gadgets service is available to GT faculty, staff and students. We offer a variety of equipment and technology that you can borrow to meet your computing, academic, and video/film production needs.
