ECE Conference and Career Development Fund

The ECE conference and career development travel grant provides financial assistance for undergraduate and graduate students traveling to a conference to present for research performed at Georgia Tech, or traveling to career development, leadership training, and professional networking workshops and/or events. Monies from this fund may be used to cover the costs of registration, airfare, ground transportation, and lodging (hotel not Airbnb).

Eligibility:

  • Currently registered full-time students in the School of ECE.

Request Amounts:

  • Up to $900 for travel and registration purposes.

SGA Conference Fund and SGA Career Development Fund – Doctoral students should also fill out the additional CoE form if applying for SGA funding for further support.

Undergrads: PURA Travel Grants are open to all undergrad students, even without receiving a PURA award

President’s Undergraduate Research Awards (PURA) – President’s Undergraduate Research Awards fund student salaries to conduct undergraduate research with Georgia Tech faculty and offset travel expenses for undergraduates to present their research at professional conferences. Between two hundred and three hundred competitive awards are offered each year.
